About this Collection

The Arizona Chapter is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to educating and promoting the benefits of sustainable, energy-efficient buildings across our great state.

The Arizona Chapter of the USGBC is committed to a prosperous and sustainable future through cost-efficient and energy-saving green buildings. It supports the national mission of market transformation through its LEED green building certification program, robust educational offerings, network of chapters and affiliates, annual Greenbuild International Conference, and support of advocacy of public policy that encourages and enables green buildings and communities. In 2001, Arizona was the third chapter to join USGBC. The Chapter is comprised of strategic branches that support their local communities and the challenges unique and as diverse as the landscape of Arizona itself.
