About this Collection

ULI’s Jack Kemp Excellence in Affordable and Workforce Housing Awards, established in 2008 and named in memory of Jack Kemp, former secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, recognize exemplary developments that demonstrate creativity in expanding housing opportunities for America’s working families. The Jack Kemp Awards honor developments that ensure housing affordability for a range of incomes, particularly for households earning below 120 percent of area median income (AMI), or mixed-income developments that serve households below 60 percent of AMI.
