The Building Efficiency Accelerator (BEA) was launched in 2014 at the UN Climate Summit. It is one of a set of 6 partnerships, under the UN’s Sustainable Energy for All (SE4All) umbrella, designed to drive transformative global change to double the rate of energy efficiency improvement by 2030. The BEA includes over 30 stakeholders, including USGBC, committed to working with cities around the world on building efficiency efforts and is managed by World Resources Institute.
